113° 54' 13.64" W

Equipment: Equipment:  Canon EOS 1 100-300 lens and polarizing filter.  Velvia transparency film, ISO 50.

Notes: If you take a week at Glacier, you can stay at most of the lodges and, like Many Glacier, this is also a "must see." The view out the other side of the lodge is of Waterton Lake, surrounded by mountains. The lodge is on a raised area that drops precipitously into the lake. I do mean PRECIPITOUSLY. On windy days, teenagers (the miner's canary for the human race) would race headlong into the on-coming wind and jump off the edge. After an airborne-heart stopping moment, the wind blew them back on to their original launching point. At least those who survived.
